Feel free to follow, yet probably I’m going to be rekindling the energy for posting and writing in a blog format… it’s always been a long time desire to, yet consistency is becoming the most valuable resource today?
It started out at the last of May 2022, when I start firing up my idle cameras. Sure then I start from objects around my place.
This dead leaf caught my eyes, it suddenly reminded me about the value of life and dead. Ah, … may be I’m just overly drown into melancholia. But what’s is photography? What is art in this matter? For me it’s a bridge to things and ideas, and sharing it anywhere, IG or not IG, it...
I still have some ‘mind’-project about his ideas. .. Seems like he’s an interesting person with a sense of aesthetics.
Theoretical Hybrid becomes the topic of this semester class. The class will bring a series of topics and discussions. More updates will follow up later.
How to understand culture in our practical-everyday life ?
This random triangular note happens to emerge to my attention today. Culture needs to be backed up by policy and economy. Policy acts as conscious decision-makings and negotiations and economy acts as resources management, whether they’re tangible or intangible ones.
This triangle of culture-policy and economy cannot act alone. It’s being supported by the infra-structure and the supra-structure; ideology. These three-layered structure on how we can understand culture, and how culture can be ‘operational’ in our daily life.

Ini adalah sebuah workshop membaca dan menulis dengan tema “Arsitektur dan Teknologi 2021”. Workshop ini akan berpusaran pada buku Braham, W. W., Hale, J. A., & Sadar, J. S. (Eds.). (2007). Rethinking technology: A reader in architectural theory. Routledge, Taylor & Francis Group. sebagai sebuah buku utama. Buku ini meskipun terbit lebih dari 10 tahun lalu, namun buku ini menyajikan kumpulan pemikiran dari para arsitek, teoritis, dan filsuf mengenai Arsitektur dan Teknologi. Itulah sebabnya tema Arsitektur dan Teknologi 2021 menjadi sebuah tema yang tepat bagi kita semua untuk melakukan proses memikirkan kembali topik ini dan memandangnya secara kritis.

Studi ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tiga pengaruh perubahan besar di abad 19, yaitu:
Secara metodologi, Sennett berkontribusi pada bagaimana studi sejarah memberi makna atau pemahaman bagi kehidupan kontemporer. Unit analisis yang digunakan oleh Sennett ada dua; materialisme Karl Marx dan spirit kapitalisme Max Weber. Materialisme Marx dipergunakan ketika membahas unit analisis mengenai kelas. Spirit kapitalisme Max Weber dipergunakan untuk membahas unit analisis personalitas individu. Kedua unit analisis ini diperlukan ketika diskursus politik atau sosial berbaur dengan terminologi psikologi.
