• Perception is an Active Assembly Line, Not a Passive Lens: The human brain does not record reality like a digital camera. Before an image enters conscious awareness, it travels along a complex cognitive assembly line where it is filtered, edited, and interpreted by unconscious goals and motivations.
• Identity Governs Visual Attention: Eye-tracking data demonstrates that our social, political, and cultural allegiances dictate where our eyes look second by second. We literally do not look at the same details when watching the same LSP build.
